Job Overview: We are looking for a key Senior Electronics Technician to join our production team, helping bring advanced camera systems to life from prototype to final build. You will play a critical part in the full product lifecycle, blending precision assembly with expert diagnostics. Key Responsibilities
- Build & Innovate: Perform intricate assembly of our camera systems, including hardware integration, wiring, and programming, following precise documentation.
- Test & Calibrate: Execute comprehensive testing and calibration procedures to ensure every camera meets our rigorous quality standards.
- Troubleshoot & Collaborate: Act as a subject matter expert in troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving technical issues in partnership with our engineering team.
- Quality & Integrity: Conduct visual and technical inspections of components and final products, ensuring quality and conformance to design specifications.
- Support & Maintain: Manage lab equipment and component inventory, and assist in the procurement of new parts.
- Vendor Relations: Work directly with external vendors to address and resolve any manufacturing or quality control challenges.
- Associate's degree or a certificate in Electronics Engineering
Technology or a related field. Equivalent industry experience will also be
considered. - 3-5 years of hands-on production manufacturing or relevant
industry experience. - Technical Expertise which includes:
- Solid understanding of electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Proficiency in interpreting Bills of Materials (BOMs) and identifying
electronic components. - Expertise in using electronic test equipment, such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
- Advanced soldering skills for electronic components.
- A strong foundation in mechanical assembly.
- Core Skills which include:
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow complex Quality Assurance (QA) procedures precisely.
