Job Overview: We are looking for a Senior Accountant to handle the controllership duties of the company.

- Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:
- month and end-year process
- accounts payable/receivable
- general ledger
- revenue and expenditure variance analysis
- balance sheet reconciliations
- check runs
- fixed asset activity
- debt activity
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
- Coordinate and complete annual audits
- Provide recommendations
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
- Liaison with 3rd party to implement states sales tax process
Qualifications:
- Proven working experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor
- Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
- Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- BS degree in Accounting or Finance
- Understanding of State sales tax
